Jewelcrafting List of Patterns

Ok, so as you JCs out there know a lot of our blue designs come from the silly daily quest using tokens to purchase them. This may take a while at one token per day (unless i'm missing some sneaky way of getting more tokens). Rather than duplicating patterns I'd like to keep a list of what everybody can cut so when you go to spend your tokens you can buy something not known in the guild yet. If you post here every time you make a purchase I will add it to the list of available cuts. This will help the guild know who to go to as well. Eventually we'll all be rolling in extra daily tokens and be able to start duplicating purchases, but until then I think this is the most efficient way to get all the cuts our guild mates may want from us.

I should be picking up my first of these patterns tomorrow, but it would be helpful to know what people are looking for. Not every gem is going to be useful or in demand, and it'd be good to get the most demanded ones out of the way first.

Hey mach I know the primary JCers of the guild divvied up all the patterns so they could get them all asap but I don't know who got what or for 'when' its assigned. I do know that eventually most of us will have all the patterns so its only these early days that are the problem. All the meta gems take 5 tokens to purchase whereas the blue quality cuts are 3 each. So if nobody else speaks up in 5 days I'll get it for ya (eta: Mon morning).

We never actually formally divvied anything up. Instead I created this post in hopes that all JC will come here and post when they buy something to prevent duplication until we've covered everything. It's not a requirement. If there is a gem cut that someone really wants to buy they can go right ahead and buy it. This is just an attempt to get everything in guild as quick as we can. It's a slow enough process as it is.

Mach I know I'll for sure be getting it, but being 5 tokens it wasn't extremely high on my list and thus is taking a while. Ultimately I'd like to buy them all. If there is a design that anyone in the guild does want please post here to let the JCs of the guild know. We'll respond to demand as best as we can.

I was wondering how much interest there was for the Jewelcrafting Necks and Rings. I plan on getting a meta cut next but if we have some interest in the rings and necks I may get one of them instead.

I like the looks of some of the rings myself until I looked at what the real cost would be. Take Design: Titanium Spellshock Ring. The pattern itself is cost 6 Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Token. That is either 6 dailies or Damaged Necklace. Then, each item requires 4 Dragon's Eye which cost 1 Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Token each. Potentially, it would take 10 days to craft the first ring, and 4 days for each afterwards. When compared to the drops in 10 and 25 raid zones, along with the patterns that would have to be postponed, I do not see the value. Just my 2c.

I imagine the patterns are there more for the non-raiding crowd, since those are good epics that any non-raiding player could get with a little work and effort.

This comes from Argent Crusade revered which I have. I can cut those gems for you. Sorry I've been only listing the daily token puchased gem cuts. There are several cuts available that were obtained elsewhere.

Since we have most of the daily purchased gems covered now, would it be possible to expand the main list to include all Blue quality gems and metagems? I think that would be more useful to the guild at this point.

It is possible and I have planned on doing so. I just have been busy with school/work during the day when i normally have time to do stuff like this.

As for tokens, I think we've done well at covering what people have wanted. I now just keep doing dailies and not spending tokens. When someone asks me for a gem cut I can't do, I buy it.
