Many people, even members of this very raid, thought it was impossible to 10-man Maulgar. Well, here we are. (To his credit, Josseppy still maintains that it can't be done.)
The group setup we used was:
Feral druid tanking High King Maulgar[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Fire mage tanking Krosh Firehand[/*:m:22d60jhx]
MS warrior DPS-tanking Blindeye the Seer[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Warlock managing felhunter-enslavement[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Prot paladin tanking Olm the summoner when felhunters were down. This was one of the tricky parts; since the felhunter doesn't do a true taunt but rather simply a "high threat" move, there comes a point where the tank has to hold him for a decent period of time before the felhunter can pull aggro. Using a paladin for this lets you bubble off one stack of the debuff, and also gives you some extra healing while a felhunter is tanking the warlock.[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Moonkin tanking Kiggler the Crazed. We tried at first with two hunters, but we weren't able to make it work; you lose too much dps by having two tanks tied up on this.[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Enhancement shaman interrupting and dps'ing.[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Shadow priest casting shields and mana battery-ing. It seems like a small thing, but having an extra priest to cast shields on the mage-tank made a huge difference by letting the healing priest spend more time healing.[/*:m:22d60jhx]
Holy priest and Holy paladin healing. The hardest bit of healing was towards the end of dps on Blindeye, when the tank on Olm started having to eat a lot of debuffs, and Kiggler started doing his threat-dump regularly and dps'ing the healers.[/*:m:22d60jhx]
On the whole it was a very hectic and chaotic encounter, but it was a lot of fun once things snapped into place. Great work by everyone.
We also subsequently 10-manned Gruul, but that's been done before by a lot of people, and there's nothing really interesting or different about it (outgearing Gruul = epix).
