"Well, I think it's been too long. I haven't seen the guy in months." Arzamas Ingottoe shakes his head in mock disgust "But I suppose..." Arzamas looks down at his plate "He's still a friend. I just wish I knew what he has been up to."
He takes a bite of pie and leans back in his seat, chewing the sweet slowly. His former ward, Xelle Telperion, sits across from him. Barely old enough to be drinking, she is soaking in the carousing happening all around in the Jester.
El'arion Telperion, Slayer - compatriot of Dyerseve and the Turalyon Vanguard. Fellow member of The Eleventh Hour. Absent from duty for nearly 3 months. Rogues may vanish, thinks Arzamas, but something about his disappearance smells.
"Xelle, I don't know what your uncle is up to - I just hope he isn't getting mixed up in anything too..." he searches for the right word "misguided." The young mage isn't paying much attention and looks somewhat confused.
"Have you met his pupil? Bheeshma, or somesuch. I don't trust that fella." Arzamas takes another bite of pie and leans towards Xelle "I know you have that rough elf wrapped around your finger - tell me, what is he up to? Why are they always training in Ashenvale?"
Xelle puts her finger to her lips and smiles. Although her muteness was cured by her father, she still uses many of the same mannerisms. Arzamas chuckles, but when she catches his eye, he has a very serious look. "While your uncle was away, I ah...found something I think is his."
He rustles in the manuscript case next to him and pulls out a map "Do you know what this is?" Arzamas unfolds a small map of the area around Orgrimmar, the Orcish capital in Durotar. Several X's dot the map, indicating what Arzamas knows to be some of the Vanguard's attack positions. There is writing on the map, adjacent to several x's, and the lettering is Orcish, with a strange flair. "That looks like Orgrimmar." says Xelle, a little surprised "And I can't read that" she says, pointing to the writing "But it looks like something in an old Kaldorei writing style" Arzamas nods, satisfied. If Xelle is surprised about it then at least El'arion is keeping her in the dark as well.
