Dark Iron Shoulders

I have two dark iron shoulders made up if anyone needs.

Natty, Slundar, and Helghaust have received shoulders. Blake has made himself the shoulders and breastplate. I now have one extra shoulder piece laying around.

I don't mind making these, they are quite cheap and anyone can get the mats. Just 48 dark iron ore (to make the 6 bars of Dark Iron) and one Heart of Fire. It used to be that dark iron ore was crazy expensive, but the new nodes around Black rock mountain have made DI available to the mining farmer and not just instance runs like before. I believe a stack of 10 now sell for 5 gold? It used to be a LOT more and most people would pressure their friendly druid/rogue miner to stealth run BRD for the ore. Lugnutz says he throws away DI now because the nodes are so plentiful. le sigh...I remember when I used to mine...more raiding mule!

I made up the two extra shoulders with the ore I was going to turn in for rep because the real annoying part of this is that you have to do a complete BRD to smelt and then forge the armor. Too bad you can't zone into MC and zone out at the bottom of BRD!

Tyyrlym I will send you the other shoulder I have because applicant main > guild alt I believe. You have more likelyhood of needing the FR. Tyyrlym send me ore, bars, or the gold to buy them if you could? Borias, I will make you another pair I promise! Or heck..get the plans yourself and make them for yourself :P You are an armorsmith! The plans come from the random BS plan in BRD that spawns. That or drag me to BRD again....sob.

HoFs are cheap; Xas should provide one for you. If she doesn't have one, tell her to let me know and I'll mail her a whole friggin' stack of them.

Xas, I'll send you the ore sometime tonight if you have some bars made. I'd like to get Helviiryn the shoulders. Even though the chances of Helv making it to MC are now pretty slim, I would still like to have the best FR I can get outside of MC Drops and Craftables requiring Fiery/Lava Cores.

lol..I have a ton of the hearts of fire too :P I was just posting the mats for reference! Plus if I don't spend out of pocket, I tend to not get bitter and angry and occasionally go insane and wipe the raid....muahhhaha!!

Weee! More FR, and in a game where your |337ness is measured in the size of your shoulder pads a big upgrade.

I got a HoF, unfortunately I got it and mailed it before I cam back here and saw this. Doh! Given the going rate for these on the AH I won't complain, ever.

I love you Xas, and its no issue I'll get those shoulders for myself, just have to force some of our fellow guildies to run BRD with me, hehe.
