I amassed the raw mats and almost amassed the 12,500g needed to craft the mekgineer's chopper. What engineers in guild can and would be willing to craft one for me?

what do you mean 12.5k gold? you have to get mats, THEN spend gold to make it?

12.5k gold is what it takes for an engineer to buy the chopper specific mats from the vendor. It also takes some normal crafting mats too.

3 out of the 6 mats only an engineer with the schematic can buy, and they total to 12,500g.

Yeah, you need 12,500g for stuff only an engineer can buy, 12 titansteel bars (3 titanium bars, 1 eternal earth, fire, and shadow - and has a 20-hour CD), 2 Arctic Furs, and 2 stacks of cobalt bars to make bolts. It has been quite obnoxious. And I still need 1,500 more gold.
